No problem with having different goals. Probably a bit healthier to have that type of body. I'd rather have slabs of muscle, fill out a shirt and be as strong as I can than have a 6-pack. Although I've lost about 15-20lbs over the past few months. Waist is 34" but still not super lean in the stomach area. I do feel more comfortable and in better shape though.
