Thought this was funny given what MCAJ22 said above. This quote below is from the niners message board in a thread talking about the possibility of bringing back Brandon Lloyd.

Front office conspiracy theories are not unique to KC. No one is ever satisfied except on the rare years in which their team wins the super-bowl. As rare as it is to win the superbowl, it's a wonder the NFL has any fans at all.
