I remember one day I was working out at my "normal gym" with my buddy who is a personal trainer. Our workout included kettlebell swings and cleans and some guy came up and asked us if we were crossfitting. My buddy was so pissed I thought he was going to explode.

Hah, i can understand why. I had a lady friend post a video on facebook of her doing those 'kipping' pull-ups. All her friends gave her the 'you go girl!' type comments, I commented and asked her if the bar had electric current passing through it by the way she was flailing around and reason why she wasnt doing a normal pullup and explosion ensued lol.
So what do the strength type WOD typically look like? Does it include some sort of programming like 'work up to 80% of 1rm for 3 sets of 5' or something along those lines?
