I mean, Jeff Allen would have been in the exact same position to step in at tackle if need be, only one year removed from being the starting LT all three years in college. I'm fine with versatility from our backups. That's just fine and dandy. But I don't want our starting guard shifting over in the middle of a game and bringing up the backup to fill his spot. That makes ZERO sense. You've basically got TWO backups filling in instead of one in that case. Dumb. Dumb dumb dumb.
