Prayers for you and your family, Donger.
We just last week lost my wife's dearest uncle to brain cancer. I carried him to bed last Thursday night (I carried a 71-year old man like I would have one of my kids) and he told me good night. He died on Friday.
At this point, I would take it as good news that they didn't find any other cancer. I don't want to scare you but his ordeal started in almost exactly the same way - we thought he had a stroke. In 2 days, they had found 4 tumors in his brain. Where his story diverges though is that it only took them a week to find 2 more tumors in his lungs, where the cancer originated. It doesn't appear that your Dad has that issue, so keep your hopes up.
I can also give you some other good news - modern brain cancer techniques appear to be amazing. They gave Ronnie 6 weeks to live when he was diagnosed. That was 21 months ago.
With good doctors, prayers, and some luck, your Dad is gonna live a long, long time yet.

They said that if the lesions on his brain were secondary, they would be able to treat them with radiation. Since it appears the lesions are the primary, he has to have surgery to go after them.
So, he goes under the knife on Tuesday. If you would, please see a prayer, send good thoughts and so on to my Dad that day.
Thank you all for your empathy. It means a lot to me.
