This. This plays a part in us moving back. I always come back to see family and for a Chiefs game once a year but it's not the same. I still never miss a game as I have NFL Sunday Ticket but I just miss it overall, not just my sports teams or being able to go see my teams play live whenever I want.

Just going to the grocery store and seeing a chiefs hat or royals jersey is something you never notice until you move away. Just the idea that other people around you are rooting for the same thing and you have something to talk about with them. Heck, I almost missed Mizzou fans after a few years.
