Chubby's used to be great when I worked there as my first table-waiting job in the early 90s. The burger and chicken fried steak were amazing. I have no idea if it's slipped in 20 years though.
The owners and managers were all mob. The waitstaff consisted of me and a bunch of female ex-cons. It was an eye-opening experience for a 22-year-old from the suburbs to say the least.
