Do any of the other non book readers suddenly find themselves tempted to start reading the books so you don't have to wait 8 months to continue with the story?
On the one hand it would give me the immediate satisfaction I am craving, but on the other, the show would probably lose a little excitement. Then, once I am done with the books I would be right back to where I am now with waiting for the next season. Craving more with no choice but to wait, except this time it would be a wait for the books, instead of the current wait for the show.
