I've never seen a team intentionally try and hit the pitcher and I've played on and against some of the best teams in our area. I have a hard time believing a traveling team of great players would intentionally hit a pitcher, or ever even hit a pitcher. Unfortunately, I have seen some traveling teams that did it intentionally, and it was just disgusting.
