On the technological side, the video is 100% correct.
Economically, I think there is a great deal more uncertainty. Henry Ford made his fortune by making sure his employees could afford his technology. This model seems built on the idea that ultimately only a very few could afford the technology and its benefits. The math doesn't work for most people to be displaced from their jobs, even if the technology is capable of displacing them.
I think a disruptive event rests on the horizon:
A revolution from the disenfranchised?
The benevolent billionaire movement expands to take care of us all?
After the singularity occurs, robots view us a pets worth keeping us around similar to dogs and cats?
After the singularity occurs, robots eliminate us?
This is going to be so cool to see what happens.
