I wear a lot of solid v-neck tees. I like American Rag a lot for those, but also have some from Express and BR. Also have some non-solid (i.e. stripes) V-neck tees.
Otherwise I wear button down, long sleeve casual shirts with the sleeves rolled up or long-sleeve shirts with sleeves pulled up.
A lot of people seem to like them, but I can't stand short sleeve button-downs. I don't own any and never will.
