Wrong.

The Dolphins offered their lower 2nd round pick and we wanted the higher one (I don't remember the pick numbers.)

We turned down a lower 2nd.

Then you're not paying attention.

It's not about them drafting "my guy" it's about wasted opportunities.

It's about drafting the replacements for players a year before you plan to release them or let them walk. It's a treading-water mentality and while you're doing that you're also passing on starting level talent at numerous positions of need.

Keep in mind I was $#itting my pants with glee when I heard we hired Dorsey. It's his approach and performance that have soured me...
