I mean I don't think frats are necessary to get the college experience, but if that's what you want then do you. Just really depends on how your college works, in some it's all about greek life and they're the ones who facilitate the night life, but in others like UMCP pretty much everyone is hitting the bars at night.
SDSU sounds like fun though, must be a ton of diversity!
