I disagree. I hardly think McCluster was all world. But he was a reliable hands receiver once the Chiefs figured out how to use him correctly, and a solid 3rd down option. I'm arguing people who call him dogshit. He was a role receiver, not a playmaker. Once people realize that and you look at his play from that perspective, he was just fine as a player. Not spectacular, but can definitely be useful for most teams.
