I think he'll be more than a thumper in the pros, but to expect him to be the next great 3-4 ILB is really quite a stretch.

I don't think he's the next great, but he does offer some versatility and he's a pretty good player. I think he offers more than what we currently have on roster.
He's not going to replace DJ. He's filling in that other LB spot where the Chiefs have had a pretty big hole for a long time now and I think he'd do it quite well.
And he's an insurance policy in case an OLB goes down. He's pretty solid in getting to the QB from the edge.
