This idea that won't seem to die that we're just a replacement of Alex Smith away from a SB, and conversely the existence of Alex guarantees we'll never be a SB team is insulting as a fan, as a fan of the Chiefs, as a fan of football, as a fan of competitive sports.
Yet people moan it over and over like they're some misunderstood genius.
If I ever do stop being a Chiefs fan, it won't be because of the team. It'll be because the fan base is too stupid to be associated with any more.
