I take an offer to split as geniune, and not some stupid "test." I don't have "tests" with women, so I don't assume they're "testing" me. If they are, they are not my type anyway.

This is correct! Some women today want to pay on the first date and some don't. If a woman wants to pay half then let her. I just went on a lunch date sat with a cute blonde and she instantly insisted on paying half. We went to movies that night and as I was about to pay she said "I'll let you pay this time".
For all you old timers I'll let you know the same woman bought me sushi tonight. What does that make me?
