Hello. A quick update.
My Dad just had a follow-up MRI to ascertain the result of the second surgery and aggressive chemo. As far as they can tell, both tumors have shrunk significantly. The doctors are "suggesting" that he begin a lower dosage, oral chemo plan for a few days a month over the next five months, along with "Navy SEAL-like" PT. My Dad is more pissed about that his quality of life has diminished (can't walk, bathe, go to the bathroom by himself) than ****ing dying, so they are going to try to walk the line between the two, apparently. They did find a suspect area on the MRI, but can't tell if it's a new lesion or just a shadow on the scan. We're obviously hoping for the latter. It isn't logical that a new lesion would grow considering all the shit that they've been pumping into to him to kill, and successfully so, the existing tumors. So we've got our fingers crossed.
Thanks in advance for your continued good thoughts and prayers. I do appreciate it.
Donger.
