He says that the oral chemo doesn't bother him at all. The IV chemo gave him mild nausea, but nothing beyond that. The doctors are a bit mystified at his ability to withstand discomfort, which I find amusing considering this is a man who could keep up with me on a 8% climb just a few years ago. He literally thrives on this kind of stuff. It's the lack of control over his body that is giving him fits now. He can't stand it. Pain and discomfort are one thing (well, two things) but not being able to control his body, pain or no, is another.
