If Andy Reid convinced Dorsey he could win with talent the Chiefs had at WR/offensive line to start the season then I would give equal blame to Reid as well.

If the decision all along was to invest in Alex Smith as the long term starting QB, then recognize his limitations and recognize the talent that must be built around him on offense for him to succeed.
The team as a whole is a lot better. Alex Smith and Andy reid had a shitty ending to the year. Dorsey has made some bad calls on first round picks and whiffed on late oline picks. But he has dramatically improved our secondary, dline, te depth, and rb depth in 2 years. When Alex Smith is your qb, that makes a lot of sense. To me, the problem still continues to be that we are building the right team around the wrong qb, and I blame the Alex Smith trade a lot more on Reid than I blame on Dorsey.
