Wait, are the Patriots on some kind of probation? If the Patriots do something wrong, whatever it is, not only does it get analyzed far more closely than if any other team in the NFL does it, the punishment should be harsher?

I assume this unwritten rule needs to stay in place until Brady/Belichick retire and the Patriots suck again? What happens if Garoppolo is really good and it turns into a Manning/Luck situation? Probation stays in place until he retires?

Or do the Krafts have to sell the team?
