Could it be all those plus deflation? Sure, it's possible.
But again, if you saw Belichick's presser yesterday, you saw something that he never did before -- met the charges head on with flat denials. No deflection or evasion. No "go ask the NFL". Just bulldozed through it with flat out denials.
