He's become an outstanding blocker, but he can catch the ball. He went to Nevada as a WR and was moved to TE. At Nevada he actually caught the ball pretty well, with over 500 yards receiving as a senior. NFL.com didn't even think he'd be a very good blocker in the pros, but thought he'd be an outstanding seam-attacking, vertical threat TE/H-back in their scouting report of him. He's got the goods if he's used that way. The very fact that he has become a devastating run blocker is the bonus. I've been mocking him into my offseason plans as well because the potential is there. A few years ago I thought the same thing of Martellus Bennett and he's turned out to be a rather good feature TE. I wouldn't count the chickens before they hatch.
