Yep, everyone knew this from the moment it happened and people are still complaining that the NFL hasn't done anything yet.
The fact that nothing has been done by the NFL yet leans towards guilty. If the NFL had found nothing wrong they probably would put out a statement asap to get the focus back on the game.
The don't want to say 'oh btw one of the teams in the upcoming Super Bowl is a cheater'. They also don't want any punishment to include the Super Bowl.
We have no idea what's going to happen but the NFL wants it to happen AFTER the Super Bowl.
