This is the problem with discussing this issue. Your "gotcha" gets exploded, so you just move the goalposts.
And only one person, not McDaniels, was "caught" for videotaping walkthroughs, and he was "caught" by the Broncos, not the NFL.
Steve Scarnecchia taped a walkthrough. He brought it to McDaniels. McDaniels refused to look at the tape. The tape was never used. Denver got in trouble because McDaniels, and the Broncos, didn't snitch fast enough for Goodell.
