With that said Miles - Again I'm only speaking of my experiences - they (BMW) certainly have the right to void the warranty. But if you have a nice Service Center - they'll cut you a break - OR simply find a German car service center that ALSO offer tunes - they'll be cool about it - I'd bet cash money on that.
