The most amazing thing about this year is that we don't have the horses, to keep up with a lot of Self's teams on paper. But Self has managed to whip this roster into a winning roster. It's mind boggling that a team that starts 6'8, 6'8 down low in a Self system can win. And then add in the fact of how tough the league is, and it blows the mind.
A lot of these titles, you could argue, are due to having the best talent in the league. Not this year. UT should kick the **** out of us. OU should be able to beat us. WVU is damn good. OSU always has our number, and KSU hates us and always gives us their best. Oh, and I have it on good authority that this is ISU's year (
).
Winning the league with this team is on Self. He's got more out of less as much as he have, save for maybe the TRob and Tyshawn year.
