For the most part, no.
- I don't speak for the board.
- Over the past several years, I just don't see regular season NFL games as all that good of entertainment. It's an incredibly watered down league and the difference between regular season games against another mediocre team and mid-January games is HUGE.
- That said, the past couple seasons of CBB has kind of worn on me, with the rule changes and games with 60+ free throws... but, it's not like the NFL where there's a huge difference between regular season and postseason.
- Not to say college kids are there for an education or any kind of bullshit like that, but they are still just college kids, and demanding March Madness success is pretty ridiculous compared to winning a couple CFB games or a few NFL playoff games, just from the number of games alone.
- I've just never seen college sports and pro sports in the same light... college kids aren't being paid millions of dollars to a job. They're paid an education and then told for however many years they're at school that athletics is all that matters.
- The Chiefs CLEARLY don't get it. They haven't gotten it for the better part of 40+ years. The Jayhawks get it and Self gets it. And yeah, for those reasons alone, the Jayhawks get more of a pass... they do win a lot of games.
