Shoulda went pro a long time ago, the longer they stay in school, the more exposed they get. I think they do have a place in the NBA though, because of their length at the guard position and ability to defend though.
With Perry, he doesn't have the same problem. He's not riding on the coattails of his recruiting ranking out of HS like Oubre, Alexander etc. It makes sense for those guys to go, to not risk their draft stock falling. With Perry, he has no where to go but up. Teams do value the 4-year veteran player that wins, can make an immediate impact. Perry has no chance at going 1st round now, if he has a good year, and KU is a Top team next year, he has a chance of sneaking into the 1st round and getting guaranteed contract. Going pro this year for Perry would be a monumental mistake.
