We made it to the semi's of that tourney on Stankowski with my law school squad in 2006. The team that beat us had one dude that was about 6'8'' and we'd keep getting pressure on them but they'd just chuck it up high and he'd go up and get it over double coverage.
It was like the Chiefs/Colts playoff game - we just couldn't stop 'em. Damn intramural teams. We had a guy actually tear his hamstring in one of those games - the back of his leg was bright purple for a month. I had a straight up Chris Carter moment diving out of the back corner of the endzone and dragging my feet to make an over the shoulder catch on a 2 point conversion. I guess I feel better knowing that we'd have just gotten housed in the finals by Chase Patton's friggen pickup squad.
I miss being athletic. Now I end up with sore feet after 2 nights of softball. Stupid old age...
