Why does this news just seem oh-so-right? Reports have surfaced that former KU and NBA player Scot Pollard is set to compete on a new season of “Survivor.”
The “Inside Survivor” blog reports that the 40-year-old former Sacramento Kings center will appear on the show’s 32nd season, which will have a theme of “Survivor: Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty II.”
You decide which one of those categories Pollard fits.
The show is scheduled to air in February of 2016 — a perfect run-up to next year’s March Madness.
The blog notes that Pollard will be the second retired NBA player to appear on the CBS reality show. Cliff Robinson finished 14th last year on “Survivor: Cagayan.”
Check out NBA.com’s “14 Reasons Why Scot Pollard Will Win Survivor.” We couldn’t agree more with that prediction.
To say that Pollard fans are hyped by the report is an understatement.
