Drogon might get big, but Balerion was the biggest of the big, IIRC; seems pretty unlikely.
And ultimately we know that WWs can turn any creature, man or beast. An army of pissed off zombie eagles could probably **** some stuff up pretty well. And I see no reason why they couldn't man arrows; they simply never had them. As they bring down more and more men and take their weapons, why couldn't they also take their bows, etc...?
Like I said, it just looks like the scales would tip way to far towards the Others if they got their own dragons.

We can agree then.
As it stands now, I'd imagine the dragons will make short work of the wights; but prior to Hardhome we hadn't really seen how effective the wights are in battle. They could easily show them manning bows and arrows and siege weapons and I don't think it'd be too farfetched. If they do, it'll likely be a much more "fair" fight.
