Pretty much, yes. This has been said for quite a long time now.
Again, we are not talking about 5,000 yard, 40+ TD passing seasons. That crap depends on scheme, and is frankly for only the fantasy football geeks of the world.
If the OL and WR groups show to be above the bottom 10, then it will become clear whether Alex is a top tier QB. He is already in the 2nd tier in most reasonable minds while having bottom tier OL and WR groups.. a large 2nd tier of QBs that people have wildly ranked in their own order.
I am still waiting for people to list some QBs that have excelled while having bottom 5-10 WR and OL groups. Has anyone ever done so? If so... let's see them. If not? then why not? because they do not exist? Be honest.
