I understand that it happened under his watch but it's impossible for a coach or coaching staff to keep tabs on a 100+ kids each year, let alone these kid's parents. What I never understood was why the onus wasn't on Bush more than it was at the time.
It was certainly nothing like the Penn State case, which resulted in less penalties but was an egregiously horrific crime in which Paterno was patently aware of but blatanly ignored.
