I've been thinking about getting out of the Porsche game and getting a M3....just my car is so unique. I see a few M3's everyday around here...I like the M-roadsters from 1999.

Meh, for that $20k, you get a brand new car under warranty and a maintenance agreement for ~4 years (and exactly the way you want it, which depending on the car & options, can be a lot easier)..... 100,000 miles on a $50k car = 50 cents/mile, or add 60,000 miles to a $30k/40,000 mile car = 50 cents per mile.
Of course, any number of options could be the best depending on the circumstances.
