It's not really like that. I've admitted that, if I had to bet, in 5 years, Andrew Luck would be the smart money bet to make as "best QB in the NFL." And he probably will be.

But he literally has not been better than Russell Wilson to this point. He's also not a top 5 NFL QB at this point. He's not. He's inconsistent. He seems to excel the most after he puts his team in unnecessary holes. Now, is that his fault, or is that on Pep Hamilton?

Personally, I think, much like Peyton Manning, Luck is hamstrung by a mediocre (to bad) coaching staff. I think Pep Hamilton is awful. I don't understand his offense whatsoever. I think it's really, really, really bad.

But purely by the Hootie 2.0 eye test ... Luck simply isn't that scary to me. Brady? He scares me. Rodgers? Scary. Wilson? Yep. Scary. Rivers scares me more than Luck at this point.

Dude threw 616 passes. He's going to rack up the stats. There is a reason why his QBR was 13th in the NFL. He's just not there. Yet. It is what it is.
