I mean, it's not exactly chicken littling when you statistically have a 6% chance of winning, not even accounting for intangibles like lifeless eyes and limp dicks. I think it's just being a realist. It's a way to avoid feeling crushed when what seems inevitable finally happens.
I didn't think we had a chance, but I never thought about turning the game off, either.
