Bottom line, if you're ever admitted to the hospital watch everything and take notes because these people don't seem to communicate at all. The guy asked me twice before the operation which side the stone was on.
I finally grabbed a pen and wrote "stones on this side" next to my right kidney. The look on his face was priceless but at least I didn't wake up with a "gee we went into the wrong kidney, sorry."
