And we'll see what GP's little stunt does with recruiting in a few months.
And don't give him any slack because "after a year like this it was going to be hard to recruit anyway." I want signs that 5-star athletes are beating down his door to get into MU. And none of this, "had he done the right thing and told his players to pipe-down he'd be the next BYU."

That's the problem.
Many people don't seem to realize that Wolfe's role at the University - title be damned - is essentially Chief Administrator. People believe Wolfe is the face of the University and should act like it, but prior to this dustup I guarantee you that most people that are even pretty well attuned to the University couldn't tell you what Tim Wolfe looked like.
He's not a public presence and that's never really been his responsibility. Wofle trying to do this particular job like a CEO really isn't a bad thing at all. You need clinical, level-headed people like him in high positions of leadership that will take a purely detached look at things. You can't have them
all be like that, but that's why Mizzou has Loftin around. Loftin
is the glad-handed personable one that does his job the way that Busby evidently thinks all people in positions of leadership should do it.
I actually think the contrast in personalities at a high level like that is a very good approach.
