It's just game two but I saw the exact same team as last year against MSU. No improvement yet (might happen, might not, that's college hoops). Maybe won't be any at all. People talk about this team being deep. The trouble is this team is deep with average talent. A lot of quantity over quality with this team. It doesn't matter if you have depth if that depth isn't very good. And some people are mad at a veteran team for giving up a 13 point and an 11 point lead. They're mad at a veteran team with experience gave up those leads. Well if a veteran team doesn't have a killer instinct then that experience means nothing. That falls under them just not being that good. A lot of these players just haven't been what we expected them to be. Sucks.

Self does deserve some blame. He's not perfect (IMO he hasn't coached well since that 2013 S16 loss to Michigan). The fact that he doesn't play through the strengths of this squad is downright mind-boggling and shows arrogance and stubbornness.

Now we'll lose two more times the rest of the year and cut down the nets in Houston. I hope so. But the Royals have sweetened any possible sports sorrow for about two or three years for me. I've been waiting for that for awhile lol. So bring it, Chiefs and KU, can't hurt me bitches!!
