Nonetheless, he's got to get better at D someday. It might take game time situations for it to click. At least Svi was draining them at a decent clip against Chaminade, but like N Colorado, they play no perimeter defense so not sure how much stock we can place in those results.

Selden does things Brannen Greene could only dream about. If you don't understand how impressively bad on defense Greene can be, then I dont know what to tell you.
Greene constantly goes under screens and just kind of saunters back into position. Graham fights tooth and nail not to get out of position on off-ball screens, as does Svi. They understand that defense is all effort and give it.
If Brannen Greene actually woke up every day for practice and said "I am going to be the best defender KU has ever seen," he would be starting in a week.
