But here's the thing: He rarely, if ever, scores anything anymore. He has a stable of writers that he assigns scenes, then he "approves" the cues.
For The Dark Knight, there were more than 24 composer's names submitted to the Oscar's and it was rejected because there were too many composers. So he had to whittle it down and re-submit.
