How'd Golden and 'Spoon get to know each other? Golden was a 2010 commit and was a HS SR in the spring of 2010 when Spoon graduated. It seems odd that they'd have gotten that close through what would have likely been little more than a couple of campus visits by a relatively unheralded recruit. I guess Pinkel put him in touch with Spoon after the issues that sent him to community college?
Pinkel really has built a neat environment at Mizzou; the 'Mizzou Made' thing just caught on so well and it seems like the players really take it to heart.
