He has the most raw talent on the team. How does he reach his potential if he doesn't play? Your up 14-20 points at home. Why is he not out there learning and improving instead of Traylor and Lucas?
If we want to play with the top 10 teams every year and have a chance at a national championship, we need those best in the country one and done players. If we don't play them until the last 1/2 of season, they are not coming here. You are a top 5 player, would you want to set on the bench? You got Kentucky, Duke etc. that will play you right away. This is a major point of recruiting these top 5 players.

Self has almost always used his top tier freshman this way. It's frustrating, but at the same time, you can't really complain about the results.
