I mean, if Kansas had a legit big to clean up on both ends, it would be as big of an equalizer as Hield... or at least close enough that they weren't 'way better'. Hell, if the bigs they have were tougher, they'd be tied for the conference lead.
And I'm not saying OU isn't really good, and Kansas obviously has issues... but, the gap in CBB isn't that wide between the contenders and everyone else, as shown on any given night.

KU hasn't played a good game in a month. They're not even in OU's league right now, either offensively (especially) or defensively.
