If we weren't talking about what the two teams are "right now," I'm not sure what we've be talking about. The whole "way better" thing is pretty semantical, but I find it hard to argue based on the stats that the two teams are all that close at the moment.

Huh... guess I'll take your word for it. I personally like looking at kenpom and Sagarin, but they're all just estimates that are subject to tweaking season by season to hopefully make them a little more accurate.
Yeah, semantics, I guess... tied in conference, .5 a game overall, a handful of spots in various rankings. As I said before, give KU some toughness or a Withey/(healthy) Embiid type big or somehow equalize Heald and 'way better' becomes even pretty quickly. And as I've said multiple times, I'm not even arguing OU is better.
