KU only hangs single banners for Final Fours, they put League titles packed 10 to a banner. So even our own school knows the difference. The Tourney gets 1/3 of all viewers for the whole season and you could probably argue it drives a good chunk of the regular season viewers too (who wouldn't tune in if there was no Tourney later).
The Tourney is no "crapshoot", that's just what KU fans say. The best team often wins and when they don't it's won by a similarly elite team. I wish it was more of a crapshoot because our March performance would be better.
