Surely you've met/known someone who this has happened to, right? If so, what do you think the reason may be? Is there pressure from the gay community to behave a certain way to prove something?

Honestly, no. I have noticed that some peoples personality changes with intoxicants but I have never seen anyone sans a personality disorder change personalities on a dime.
