A season ago, Fleury lost all four games to the Rangers by 2-1 scorelines, and it was abysmal coaching by Mike Johnston and a listless offense that were at fault.
The onus has been on the offense to produce come playoff time, and they've failed spectacularly given the talent on the roster. Fleury has done his part these past few playoffs to show that his head is on straight, and it syncs with him having a new goalie coach.
Perhaps Fleury shits the bed again these playoffs and the Penguins are ousted once more by the Rangers, but you can't enter these playoffs thinking the same old narrative of "Fleury folds come playoff time".

It's more so the defensive lapses and undisciplined play at times that have cost the Pens. Fleury has bounced back nicely past few years. Hope his concussion issues are ok for the playoffs. Pens are on a roll right now. Crushed Philly today. Seems like every night they're scoring 5 goals.
