I think Rick was like that bc he felt he let his whole group down. They are basically in a no win situation. I mean, what are they gonna do in that scenario? Stripped of weapons, surrounded by all of Neegan's men. He thought it was the end for all them. And after what they've been through, they always made it out. But you could see on his face that he was basically defeated, that their luck had finally run out.
